Green Trafalgar Road

Back in the summer of 2015 after a successful crowdfunding campaign EGRA raised £6,250 qualifying us for a grant from the Mayor of London for £25,000, for the beautification of Woodland Walk and barriers on Trafalgar Road. In August 2015 we got the greenlight to start planting. Adding plants is helping us improve the air quality of our high street and it's general appearance with the added advantage of comfortable seating for shoppers & coffee drinkers.

This project started the ball rolling for our Green Strategy for East Greenwich. Residents have plenty of ideas for green spaces, tree planting and playground improvement. We have recently secured support from B&Q who donated a truck load of bedding plants for our latest project, the planters in Mauritius Road. We have raised a petition for tree planting in Bellot Street and are talking to RBG about how best to achieve it.

If you would like to join our Green Team  please get in touch via info@EGRA.london or come to our next public meeting.
