The Peltons is a development comprising of three parts, Pelton Apartments, Pelton Place, and Pelton Terrace located on Blackwell Lane and Commerell Street. The overall site is 0.65 hectares. The residential development includes a mix of flats and houses and both privately owned and affordable homes. The scheme also includes provision for mix commercial use.
The application was made in October 2011, and planning consent was granted in December 2011, for 137 housing units, of which 26 (19%) would be affordable.
EGRA was not in existence when these plans were proposed. The Greenwich council website does show there was an objection to the proposed plans on the basis that the density of development was too high.
