Enderby Riverside Development: New plans submitted

The developers behind the Enderby Riverside site have now submitted revised plans to the council, as expected.

The new plans revolve around the need to build a bigger cruise terminal building, as Enderby Wharf will now be the start and finish point for cruises, rather than just a stopping off point. In order to pay for a bigger building and enhanced facilities the developers are proposing to build 384 more residential apartments than originally planned.

EGRA has attended three closed meetings with representatives of Cruise Britain and Enderby Riverside development and we have already expressed our concerns about density, increased emissions and traffic, the percentage of social housing, and how the public realm will be used.

We will pore over the revised plans and bring you more as soon as we can.
