East Greenwich Fayre

Join us for a day of fun, creativity and community at this year’s East Greenwich Fayre. The event brings together local performers, artists, stallholders and neighbours for a packed afternoon of activities and entertainment.

Procession

We’ll kick things off with our lively community procession – starting on Commerell Street this year. Look out for our giant turtle puppet, acrobats, and possibly a few local skaters joining in the fun. Come early and be part of the crowd.

Performances

Enjoy a brilliant mix of live music, dance, and local talent on the main stage:

  • 1.45 – 2.15pm: NYJO

  • 2.30 – 3.00pm: Angelina Jandolo Dance School

  • 3.05 – 3.45pm: Pet Show

  • 4.00 – 4.10pm: St Mary Magdalene & Trinity Laban

  • 4.20 – 4.50pm: Soul Choir

  • 5.05 – 5.30pm: Pelton Open Labs – Lukas

  • 5.35 – 6.00pm: Pelton Open Labs – Humble Brag

Activities and workshops

Throughout the day you’ll also find hands-on workshops and drop-in activities for all ages:

  • Carnival costume making

  • Face painting

  • Creative workshops with More2nurseries

  • Mural painting

  • Sports sessions by Pro Infinity

  • Boxing and fitness tasters from Snap Fitness

  • Possible STEAM workshop with Alcatel

  • Tug of war and other games

  • Storytelling in the Community Gardens

  • Exploration and nature activities in Westcombe Woodlands

Pet show

Bring your four-legged friends along for our annual pet show with prizes from Uptown Dog and local celebrity judges. Five fun categories – look out for more details soon.

Stalls and food

Pick up a snack or something special from a range of local stalls, including:

  • Chilli Ginger food stall

  • Local crafts and traders

  • Ice cream truck (TBC)

  • We’re also talking to local favourites like Theatre of Wine and Endoby House about drinks options
